Fanta milkshake recipe
Over the weekend, someone wrote into the blog asking for a 1980s recipe for Fanta ice cream. I’ve found this recipe in our Archives.
Because I just found it this morning, I haven’t had a chance to make it myself, but it sounds good. (Really, once you put ice cream in something, it’s hard to go wrong!)
Fanta Orange Buttermilk Frosty
1 cup buttermilk or milk
½ cup Fanta Orange soda
2 tbsps. brown sugar
Vanilla ice creamCombine buttermilk, Fanta Orange, brown sugar and 1 scoop vanilla ice cream in blender. Whir to blend. Pour into glass. Serve with a stirrer topped with half slice of orange and maraschino cherry, if desired. Makes 1 serving.
So if you try out this Fanta ice cream drink this week, let me know how it is!

Try my favorite - Fanta GRAPE and ice cream - it is great. Even better with Crass Grape soda. Crass was the bottler in the Richmond and SW Virginia area/

I'd be happy if Coke brought over some of the European Fanta recipe to the US :) There is a huge difference in flavors and many people prefer European Fanta over the American version.

Rodica - One of the great things about our beverage potfolio is that we manufacture drinks that cater to the different taste preferences of people around the globe. One of the highlights of The World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta is an area called Taste It. Here you can sample beverages that we do not sell in the US. Many of our guests find flavors that they really enjoy and a few that they only want to try once. -- Phil
